The Steering Committee is planning to make the reunion a truly MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE.

E M B R A C I N G  T H E  P A S T  ~~ E M P O W E R I N G  T H E  F U T U R E

Day 1 -On Thursday July 30, 2015

  • we will begin with an informal Meet & Greet Social Mingle with Food & Music; test our recollections in the "Remember The Time" challenge game - Oh how we have changed over the years - wiser, more grounded, thoughtful, prayerful, thankful.  A social ice-breaker afternoon at the beautiful Mellows Entertainment Complex located along the peaceful Balthazar River in St. Andrew.  Local Entertainment included. 

Day 2 -On Friday July 31, 2015

  • empower our future with a Public Forum led by student groups from the current secondary schools
  • honor our past with the Opening Reception tribute to the past principals of the 1970s
  • launch of the "Paving a Path ForwardMentorship Program for 230 students (10 from each secondary school) - pairing students with reunion registrants - the students are our future!
  • announce scholarships for deserving students
  • evening closes with an exciting Cultural Show featuring Richardo Keens-Douglas and other local talent.

Day 3-On Saturday August 1, 2015

  • give back with Community Service work; we go out and perform varying civic duties - "there is no exercise better than reaching out and lifting people up" - we can and we must
  • establish "Read Across Grenada" Day initiative with focus on all 56 Primary schools; Join the ReadMobile tour will make 12 stops as we travel to engage 1,120 kids in reading activities.  You can also purchase books for students by visiting the Wish List on Amazon: -make the kids smile
  • enjoy an afternoon Lunch with the Students if you participate in the Service Day/Read Across program
  • later in the day, we sail with friends on a moonlit Evening Cruise aboard the Rhum Runner.

Day 4 -On Sunday August 2, 2015

  • give praise and thanks in an ecumenical Worship Service for bringing this group of classmates, family and friends together from all across the world - can anyone say true Diaspora any louder?
  • after shouting praises, there is a Breakfast Reception followed by
  • an afternoon of Games, Food and Beach activities at La Sagesse Park & Beach.

Day 5 -On Monday August 3, 2015

  • sail to celebrate Carriacou and Petite Martinique day as Regatta takes center stage.  Let us know early (selection on registration form) if you plan to go in order for arrangements to be finalized.

Day 6 -On Tuesday August 4, 2015

  • learn more, during the Historic Tours, about our beautiful country. Did you know that St. Patrick boasts over 70% of the country's historic sites?  You will not only learn about Grenada's historic sites but also visit some as we tour multiple parishes - St. John; St. Mark and St. Patrick; ending with a Luncheonat Belmont Estate 
  • think you are tired after a 3-parish tour - well take a rest and come out to the Seventies "Old-School" Party: bell-bottoms, platform shoes, and afros anyone?  We can make it a theme party - just tell us!

Day 7 - On Wednesday August 5, 2015

  • celebrate with a Red Carpet Closing Reception, Gala Dinner and Dance and put a big wrap around a remarkable week
  • this will be a grand and fitting overview of how the seventies decade shaped our lives - a period of awareness, independence, renewal, revolution, and development
  • our secondary schools past students excelled in arts, sports, literature, medicine, politics, economics, academia and other fields - highlights in a video presentation during the evening; send in your pictures and comments
  • we are forever defined by our growth spiritually, politically, economically, and socially.   

POST EVENT - Based on interest we will also incorporate a BEACH BASH in Grand Anse!!
